Notes:
This piece was made by British Traditions and was in excellent condition; however the hunter green color did not match the room and had to be changed. I wanted to distress it, but did not want the green to show through. The two choices are to strip/sand it or paint it first in a color that resembles the pine, and I opted for the latter. After a custom blend of colors I wet distressed it and the first color came through, appearing to be blonde wood. I finished it with a satin poly and honey glaze.
